ABOUT JANE JONES
Since childhood she has loved sketching, especially anything science fiction or fantasy related. Back then she was influenced by the original Star Wars, Krull, Willow, Never Ending Story and The Dark Crystal, amongst others. In later years she was influenced by movies like The Lord of the Rings, with stunning mystical landscapes, castles and monsters.
She is drawn to strange creatures, fabulous landscapes and mystical beings. She has a passion for bright colours, bold shapes, strange alien beasts, fairies and friendly oddities.
Jane likes to work in a variety of different media: pencil, pen and ink, water colour, acrylic and occasionally oils. Sometimes she even manages to clean her poor paint brushes!

Jane Jones is an avid daydreamer and expert doodler who will, occasionally, sit down at her rather chaotic desk and do some art based work.

When she’s not writing and illustrating her whimsical children’s books, she can be found enjoying a good glass of rum and listening to pirate metal (and yes, that’s an actual music genre).
